ON TRACK INITIATIVES

Drive for Diversity Program
The Drive for Diversity program, seeks to develop minority and female drivers and crew members. The program is designed to increase participation in NASCAR among Americans of diverse ethnic, racial, and gender backgrounds. The program is managed by The 909 Group, a minority owned agency in Huntersville (Charlotte), NC. For more information visit www.drivefordiversity.com.

Driver Development
* The program supports drivers in the NASCAR Camping World Series and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Selected drivers are invited to participate in the annual Testing & Evaluation Combine and earn the opportunity to compete with an established NASCAR team for a full season.

* The Drive for Diversity program expanded in December 2007 to include a partnership with the World Karting Association (WKA). The program currently supports young minority and female drivers who compete in the WKA series.

Crew Member Development
* Provides opportunities for minority and female participants to be part of a crew team with an established NASCAR team that is committed to fostering/developing future crew members for a full season.

* Seeks opportunities for program “graduates” to advance to top teams within the sport.
